I don't have a huge amount to say about Manchester Pride. It was my first visit. It was a rainy day so some locations were limited.
There was no trouble (that I saw) no hate, no abuse, the police had no issues (that I saw) it was well organised, happy and positive.
There were some sights which, as a married, straight, heterosexual man with 2 kids were to put it lightly, eye opening. However, all of the people here weren't protesting or pushing any agendas, this was a celebration of what people wanted to be so there was no need for any exchange of beliefs.
This is somewhere I'd happily return to next year.
